Fence & GateRepair

Fence and gate repair across the DMV: rotted posts, storm damage, sagging gates and rusted ornamental bases repaired instead of replaced. Free estimates.

What we provide

Fence & Gate Repair

Most damaged fences do not need to be replaced. Wood fences usually fail at a few posts; ornamental steel and aluminum fail in the last six inches where the post meets the concrete; gates fail at the hinges. Repairing those points costs a fraction of a new fence.

Expert Fence repairs wood, vinyl, chain link and ornamental metal fences and gates, with welding and fabrication done in our own Alexandria shop. We will tell you plainly whether a repair makes sense or whether replacement is the honest answer.

Common questions

Fence & Gate Repair FAQ

Repair usually makes sense when the damage is limited to a few sections or the bases, and the rest of the fence is sound. Replacement makes sense when more than roughly half the run has failed, footings have heaved along the whole line, or repeated repairs have already exceeded the replacement cost. Our survey says which you are.
