Pool fencing

Pool FenceInstallation

Code-compliant pool fences with self-closing, self-latching gates for homes, HOAs and community pools across Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland.

What we provide

Pool Fence Installation

A pool fence has one job that matters more than how it looks: keeping children out of the water when nobody is watching. Pool barrier codes set the height, the gaps, the climbability and the gate hardware, and inspectors check every one of them.

Expert Fence builds pool enclosures for homeowners, HOAs and community pools across the DMV. We specify the fence to the barrier code in your jurisdiction, provide the documentation your inspector asks for, and install self-closing, self-latching gates that actually close every time.

Common questions

Pool Fencing FAQ

Most codes in our area require a minimum barrier height of around 4 ft, with limits on gaps and footholds. The exact numbers depend on your jurisdiction and the code edition it has adopted, which is why we check them for your address before quoting.

Typically the gate must be self-closing and self-latching, open outward away from the pool, and have its latch release out of a small child's reach. We install hardware that meets those requirements and test it at the walkthrough.

Sometimes, if it meets the barrier requirements. Often gates, gaps or height need to be corrected. We can assess it during the estimate.
